Converge Unveils Signal Long Range™, Unmatched Convenience & Flexibility for Concrete Monitoring on Large Infrastructure Projects

London, UK – [October 27th]

Converge, the AI-driven concrete intelligence company, today announced the launch of Signal Long Range™, a groundbreaking sensor system that redefines how large-scale infrastructure projects monitor concrete performance.

Covering up to 72 acres (55 American football fields) with a single Converge Gateway™, Signal Long Range™ delivers remote, real-time concrete temperature and strength data across the most demanding sites from data centres and underground tunnels to transport and energy infrastructure.

“Signal Long Range renews our commitment to pushing boundaries in construction technology,” said Raphael Scheps, CEO and Co-Founder of Converge. “We’re incredibly proud to have built a cutting-edge device that gives our customers unparalleled convenience and flexibility, all within a user experience and customer service that leads the industry. This launch is another step in our mission to decarbonise concrete by making it easier to build smarter, safer, and more sustainably.”

The fully embedded design of Signal Long Range™ means there are no exposed cables, eliminating safety hazards and breakage risks during pours. Once installed, the long range wide area network can monitor concrete performance automatically at great distances, removing the need for site teams needing to move gateways, while still offering an option for manual data collection if desired. This remote visibility gives engineers instant insight into temperature and strength development from anywhere at any time.

The proprietary lock-in attachment system prevents sensor rotation on the rebar and signal loss, a common issue with some competitor devices, ensuring precise, reliable readings. Meanwhile, Multi-Probe Thermal Tail™ technology makes it a unique embedded sensor capable of up to 4 measurement points per device, making it effortless to measure complex temperature gradients in mass concrete pours.

The Converge Gateway™, uses both cellular and wifi connectivity, ensuring data transmission options in even the most challenging environments, while solar, battery, and 12V vehicle power options offer more reliable connectivity whether on a desert highway or deep underground inside a tunnel, making it the most versatile concrete sensor gateway on the market.

Converge Gateway™: Long Range

Signal Long Range™ integrates seamlessly with ConcreteDNA™, Converge’s AI-based concrete operations platform, that helps speed up pour cycle times, manage cost & compliance data, and optimise mixes to reduce carbon impact. Together with Data Hub and Mix AI, it provides an end-to-end digital ecosystem that turns real-time data into actionable insights helping contractors build faster, safer, and with lower embodied carbon.
