My nodes are not online, why?
Check the hub is plugged in, the power source is working, and an LED light shows on the hub.
Check the hub is installed in a location free from metal obstructions directly around it that may create a faraday cage effect. (If installed inside a metal site cabin for example, install the hub next to a window in the direction of the jobsite.)
If using the V1 hub with external antenna check the antenna is screwed in and installed above the hub free from any obstruction around it.
How do I improve the range my hub can reach?
Install your Helix hub high and outside to get the greatest range possible.
If using the V1 hub (with external antenna) check the antenna -it should be installed up above the hub free of any obstructions. Secure the hub vertically as high as possible on fences or posts with the screws that are provided or zip ties.
What do the LEDs on my Helix V1 Hub mean?
Flashing green - Connecting to the internet
Solid stable green - connected to the internet
Flashing red - cannot connect to the internet
What do the LEDs on my Helix V2 Hub mean?
When plugged into power the power and cellular LED light will come on first followed by the LoRa LED light (this can take up to 2 minutes after cellular connection).
(Our hubs have their own cellular connection but if you would like to enable your hub for wifi please contact your local Support team)
My hub LED is flashing red - what shall I do?
If the hub is flashing red it may be in an area without network coverage. Try in an alternative location where you know the network connection is stable. If the LED still flashes red, contact Converge or your provider, they can tell you the status of your Helix hub account.
